Our Story
Meet Sue, Cookie Executive Officer

I've been eating cookies my whole life. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love cookies. I even mentioned cookies in my brother's wedding speech! For me, it's been a lifelong mission to find the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
I've tried so many cookies from all over the world and just couldn't find the perfect one. So I decided to make it myself. After many years of trying and failing, I finally started to find my groove.
I started off by giving cookies to my friends and bringing them to random potlucks. Everyone loved them and kept asking for more. It started with a few friends, who told their friends, who told more friends. They kept telling me to sell them. Eventually my husband asked "why aren't you selling these?" and I just jumped in.
The more interest we got, the more obsessive I became with the chase of the perfect cookie. Hundreds of batches later, my husband, our CTO (Cookie Tasting Officer), finally said I did it.
The secret isn't a secret: we brown the butter. Toasted low and slow until it turns nutty and deep, giving every cookie that perfect rich, gooey profile.
Today it's still the two of us doing the heavy lifting, baking, packing, and hand-delivering every order, all while working full-time jobs and juggling everything else life throws at us. Honestly, the deliveries are my favorite part. There's nothing like watching someone take that first bite. Child or adult, no matter their walk of life, the reaction is always the same. And that's what keeps us going. We truly believe cookies are universal!
Where's this going? Maybe a storefront. Maybe a few. Maybe cookies across California and the US. Who knows? But no matter how big it gets, the promise doesn't change: home made, hand baked, brown butter. Always.
